How does Shopping Live work?
Shopping Live allows your customers to visit your website, view your products online, sign up as customers and make purchases.
Shopping Live has a $1,750 installation fee and is $44.95 per month. What other costs are there?
There are no hidden costs for Shopping Live. You can pay from just $1,750 + GST installation and then $44.95 + GST per month without incurring extra charges.

Shopping Live is designed with the small to medium business in mind - costs are minimal, and pricing is transparent.
If you'd like to have a customised Shopping Live design, or you'd like to accept secure credit card payments, a design charge and bank fees apply, respectively.
If you are selling to Australian customers only, it's not a necessity to accept credit card payments, and you will save a lot of money in costs this way. If you decide in the future you want to upgrade to accept credit card payments, there is no extra fee from OPMC to add this functionality to your Shopping Live site.
I don't want to accept credit card payment - how does that work?
If you don't have plans to accept credit card payment at the moment, Shopping Live is even faster to setup with no extra costs. When your customers order your products online, they will be restricted to accepting the payment methods you allow. This can include the ability for the customer to pay directly to your bank account, or PayPal for international payments.
I want to accept credit card payment - how does that work?
Credit card payment is currently setup to work with the Payment Express Secure Payment System - see http://www.paymentexpress.com. When customers have confirmed an order, they are automatically directed to the Payment Express secure payment page, which is customised with your logo. The amount due is presented to them, and they can enter their credit card details securely to this page.
The validity of the customer's credit card is checked on the spot, and the card is accepted or declined immediately. Once this has been confirmed, the customer is directed back to your website and the order logged into your Shopping Live system. Payment is made to your bank account the following morning.
What do I need to setup to accept credit card payments through Payment Express?
To accept credit card payments you need to have:
- An electronic merchant number - Dependent on your bank
- A Payment Express account - Approx. $150 + GST setup (from Payment Express)
You can expect ongoing bank-related costs of:
- Minimum merchant fee - Dependent on your bank
- Minimum Payment Express fee - From $50 + GST per month
I prefer to use my own bank's internet payment gateway
We can provide a customised setup using your bank's payment gateway. A setup charge may apply.
What payment methods can I accept?
The following payment methods can be accepted at present:
- Direct bank payment
- Secure credit card payment
- PayPal
I have a website already, can I host Shopping Live on this?
Yes, if your website is hosted with OPMC. We cannot setup Shopping Live on another provider's hosting platform.
Can I relocate my shopping cart to another service provider in the future?
Shopping Live is a monthly service. You can move your Shopping Live to another online shopping service provider in the future, we can supply the data in your Shopping Live as a file you can pass on to your new provider, however there is a service charge for this. You cannot have access to the Shopping Live source code.

All services except website name registration are charged 1 month in advance. Website name registration is charged 12 months in advance.
